Breakfast Builders: Honey-Almond Crunch Bagel

12 Plain Block & Barrel® Bagels
3/4 cup almonds, sliced, toasted, coarse chop
2 tsp light brown sugar 2 tbsp. granola 1/4 cup honey, warmed

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F with rack in center of oven.
  2. Combine almonds, brown sugar, and granola in a small bowl.
  3. Place bagels on lightly oil-sprayed baking sheet.
  4. Brush warmed honey over bagels.
  5. Sprinkle almond mixture evenly over bagels.
  6. Place in oven for 15 minutes.

Yield: 12 bagels

Substitute your favorite nut in place of almonds. To reduce cooking time, place bagels in convection oven with fan on for 8 minutes.
