Smokin' hot recipe idea: Island Spice BBQ Sandwich
Yield: 1 serving
Ingredients
- 2 slices Garlic Panini Bread (SUPC 5351798)
- 4 oz Double Rub Pork Bar-B-Q, no sauce (SUPC 7755572)
- 2 Tbsp Island Jerk Seasoning Sauce
- 1 oz Mango Red Onion Salsa
- ¼ cup Red Onion, diced
- 1 Tbsp Fresh Cilantro, chopped
- ½ tsp Red Pepper Flakes
Directions
- Thaw bread, following directions on case.
- Mango Salsa: combine mango, red onion, cilantro and red pepper flakes in small bowl. Mix well. Let stand for 30 minutes for flavors to blend.
- Heat pulled pork, following directions on case. Mix with jerk seasoning sauce.
- Place pork on bottom half of bread and top with mango salsa.
- Place other half of bread on sandwich, cut in half and serve.
