Try this unique recipe idea for your back-to-school breakfast menu:
Cranberry Orange Belgian Waffles
Yield: 26, 7-inch waffles
Ingredients:
- 5 lb. (full box) BakerSource Belgian Waffle Mix 6153092
- 80 fl. oz. (10 cups) water
- 12 oz. (2.5 cups) sweetened dried cranberries, coarsely chopped
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. finely grated orange zest orange butter (optional)
Preparation Instructions:
- Place BakerSource Belgian Waffle Mix, water, cranberries and orange zest in mixer bowl. Blend with a wire whip until smooth.
- Pour 6 12 oz. batter onto preheated, lightly greased 7-inch round Belgian waffle iron; close lid. Wait 10 seconds and turn over.
- Cook waffle approximately 3 1/2 minutes. Serve warm with orange butter and powdered sugar, if desired. For orange butter, blend together 40 oz. (1/2 cup) softened butter and 1 tsp. finely grated orange zest.
